How can i import .svg files, for example from lightburn?

loving the fact that you create your SVGs from canvas!! Do you have a tutorial on how you do it-- mainly the steps for exporting from canvas and taking them into illustrator to make it a cut file? I can't find anything on UA-cam that explains this!

My wife would love one of these. Do you offer the files for the interchangeable pieces? I am not that computer savvy yet. I am learning.

Hey guys. Thanks for the video on the new XTool Creative Space. I am new to XTool and their products so this is a big help in getting me started. I've worked with Lightburn in the recent past but this is a little different and takes getting use to. I love the test cuts also but I have noticed that it is limited and not all inclusive. On XTools website, there is a more inclusive set of test cuts that you can download and add to your Creative Space during design and machine setup. Only think I dont really like is that you have to select each one of them individualy instead of an update to the program that would load them all at one time. Dont get me wrong, I love this feature. Saves us from having to do the work of designing a test pattern and using our material for a test cut or engrave. Keep up the videos as they are great.

Is it a regular gopro you put inside while engraving and do you use any filters to protect the lens or is that not required?

I love it when someone puts out a video like this. It’s also great reading through the comments for additional tips to try.

What can be done about the obvious warpage/board bowing which shows quite clearly in your assessment segment?

Ive always used borax. When i do a retirement plaque or such I stain the wood and get it ready for a clear coat then i apply borax and laz it. then a quick coat of clear. Borax will smug, so be at the point of applying a clear coat.

After the engraving, run the file again but then score. You get a nice crisp edge.

Would going over the engraving with a second pass at a lower power help darken the coloring?

I have a beginner diode laser and I’ve used boric acid solutions for a year+ now. I want to upgrade to a bigger laser one day but in the meantime I’m happy with the boric acid solution. I love watching you guys. Such a creative couple and funny. ❤❤❤

I'm a fan of your UA-cam channel. I'm curious, can your dtf machine print images of persons onto shirts? If so will it be high quality?

spray the borax and let it dry, then lightly sand it before engraving. 10 parts water to 1 part borax

On a CO2 you can defocus a few mm to get darker engraves. On my Thunder Bolt I defocus about 4mm on Walnut to get a much darker engraving.

Did you try compressed air on the borax to quickly blow out the soot before a spray. I find that helps my normal diode engraves but it will lighten them up but no more smudges

Thank you for the tutorial on the new interface for xcs. I have had my f1 for two weeks and a week into it software updated. I am a graphic designer so props on your love for illustrator. I share that with you. Also thank you for sharing the difference with lightburn as I have a bigger co2 and use that there. Again thank you for all the help ❤
